Viking Legend joins the European fleet in 2009, carrying 189 guests on some of Viking's most popular itineraries. This beautiful state-of-the-art vessel has 97 staterooms, all deluxe (except for the 5 single staterooms) with either French balconies or picture windows.

In addition to providing state-of-the-art comfort and amenities and some of the largest suites in Europe, Viking Legend is a "green" ship with an innovative propulsion system that allows it to achieve an estimated 20% boost in fuel efficiency over any other river cruising vessel in the region. Legend also provide an exceptionally quiet ride by using four smaller propellers instead of two larger ones.
